Serves:4
Preparation time:20 minutes
Marinating time:4+
Difficulty:Easy
Ingredients:
- 4 x 250g meaty pork chops, ideally with some marbling through the meat
- 4 tbsp. neutral oil
- 350g fresh Asian stir fry vegetable mix
- White and pale green part of 2 spring onions, very finely chopped
Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons Chang's Original Oyster Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chang's Pure Sesame Oil
- ½ cup mirin
- ½ cup Chang's Gluten Free Tamari Light Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed or grated
- 1 thumb ginger, grated
Method:
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and add the pork chops, mixing well to coat completely then marinate, covered in the fridge for 4-12 hours.
- Bring the pork back to room temperature. Brush a medium-hot flat grill with half the oil and cook until just cooked through. Rest for a couple of minutes loosely covered with foil.
- While the pork is resting, place the remaining oil in a hot wok and stir fry the vegetables until cooked – just a couple of minutes.
- Transfer to plates the vegetables to plates and top with Chang’s Oyster sauce drizzled over and the pork beside the vegetables
